The Pirtle Nursery 3.74 gal. Celeste Fig Tree in #5 Pot is a lush, tropical looking tree that produces small, chewy, bronze fruit. These fruit plants offer fruit that is sweet and great dried or used in preserves. The Celeste Fig needs protection in the colder months when grown in containers but is more cold-hardy than other fig trees. In warmer climates, plant this fig tree in landscapes as an accent, background or screen. The Celeste Fig ripens in early summer and resists spoilage. Pirtle Nursery Celeste Fig #5, 3.74 gal.

It was a present for my sister-in-law to honor her deceased father. It is already producing a fig while still in the original container

Dead tree?

I purchased in late March from my local Tractor Supply. The tree had no leaves - just brown branches. I didn't know what it was supposed to look like, so I figured it must still be dormant from the hard winter and it would wake up eventually. Fast forward a little over three months, and no change. It's been outside and well taken care of, but no change. Looks like I was sold a dead tree. It's not returnable either. Can I get a refund or a new fig tree?

Received a dead stick in a pot

I ordered it for pickup at the store, and sent my daughter to pick it up for me. I received a dead stick in a pot. Not a single live leaf on it. And it's nonrefundable, so I can't even get my money back. Very disappointed.
