The Pirtle Nursery 1.5 gal. Duke Blueberry Plant in #2 Pot is a northern highbush variety, growing well in northern regions with cooler climates. It has an early fruit season, that ripens around late May. This fruit plant is known for its high yield of light blueberries, with a firm, crisp texture. The fruit has a tangy, sweet flavor while being high in fiber and vitamin C. With its small oval dark green leaves that turn attractive shades of yellow and orange in the fall, the late spring white, pink tinged blossoms make it a colorful addition to any landscape. Like all blueberry plants, this variety can live a long time, bearing fruit for up to 50 years. This self-pollinating blueberry will do well by itself, but with another cultivar it will produce even larger yields.
