Q: My ornamental pomegranate bush/tree is outside, and does fair; but needs repotting to seperate it from a tree seedling that has taken root, the last few years. I wish to transplant back into existing pot, once separated, is tree/shrub soil okay to add in

- A: How to repot pomegranate tree? Repot the tree in a larger pot before the roots have a chance to out grow the pot. Place 1 inch or more of organic potting mix in the bottom of a pot that is at least 2 inches larger than the original container. Remove the pomegranate from its container and place it in the center of the pot.4 years agoHelpful?

I was somewhat hesitant about ordering this plant online. I felt that it was going to arrive either late or the plant dried out. I was pleasantly surprised and happy to see that it was in great shape and the dirt was moiste. Thank you Tractor supply. I will definitely order again if I decide on another plant. I purchased two plants from Tractor Supply web site. The plants were healthy. There were flowers on both plants and one had a tiny pomegranate! They were packaged well. I would suggest that if you have your plant shipped to a Local Tractor Supply store, pick it up the day it arrives (the package remains unopened by staff). Very Happy!
