Cannon TS5934- 45-Minute Fire Rated 40 Gun Safe is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 103.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Safe Bought this safe on sale one year ago and it is everything I expected. I have several scoped rifles and long range rifles, realistically it will comfortably hold 24 long guns. If any of your guns have a 26in barrel or longer, forget the shelves. This safe is well constructed and works as intended. I open the safe at least 8-10 times per week and I’m still on the 1st battery. I’m looking at another safe for a few guns but mainly ammo and will buy this one again. I am a firefighter and have witnessed this model of safe in action. The fire was hot enough to melt my face shield and leather on my helmet, after the fire we checked and all guns and valuables were still in tact. In conclusion, I would def recommend this safe if you can live with the minimal negatives mentioned

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost 5 stars Love the safe but would have given it 5 stars if it hadn’t been damaged. The outer box was not damaged at all but when we uncreated it there was 4 large gashes in the metal. They were deep enough to cut me when I ran my have over it.

Should the electric lock fail and replacing the battery not work how do you open your safe?

Asked by: Cam123
Thank you for inquiring about the Cannon TS5934 Safe. Electronic locks have a very low fail rate but if for some reason your lock stops working and replacing the battery does not work you can call the Cannon Customer Service line for troubleshooting help. The parts for your lock are free for the lifetime of the safe.

Is there a key to unlock door if electronics fail?

Asked by: Biggie
For added security measure there is no key backup to the electronic lock. Electronic locks provide you quick and secure access to your safe and have a low fail rate. Electronic locks perform best when used with an all alkaline duracell or energizer battery with an expiration date of 5 years in the future.

I noticed a half inch pre drill hole on back of safe near the bottom I can see drywall board could I drill hole through drywall board run electrical cord Universal Outlet

Asked by: Bill41
Bill, You may drill through the drywall to build in your own power box or run electricity through. However be aware that you cannot tamper with the steel housing of the safe, meaning you cannot make the pre-drilled hole any longer. If you do it will invalidate your warranty.

If the keypad quits working. How do you get in the safe?

Asked by: uncledalty
Typically when a keypad isn't working it is due to a dead battery. If you try this and it still does not work you can call our customer service line. We can help you troubleshoot the issue. If for some reason you can still not gain access to your safe we will send out a replacement lock free of charge. You are covered under warranty for labor for one year from the date of purchase. If you are out of that time frame the digital keypads are very user friendly and we can walk you through how to replace it.
