Tarter Farm and Ranch Equipment ATV 5-Bushel Pull-Behind Spreader/Trail Feeder is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid build Great seeder but an improvement that can be made would be to quickly disengage the seed thrower wheel when in motion so that you you can halt seed dispersion while in motion for areas that you don't want to seed. I suppose that you could close off the door that releases your seed but with so much time spent on getting the correct lbs/acre seeding rate set, I'm hesitant to fuss with that while seeding. What I do is place my seed bags on my front and back rack and add seed for areas that I need to seed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Made Well made (in Italy), and works well. Paint a little roughed up in shipping, but completely functional. Had some trouble understanding setting chart, so just made trail and error adjustments, with good results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality, would buy again. I have used this several times now and it does exactly what it is supposed to do and appears to be solid and something that will last a long time. I got tired of buying the $200 cheapies and replacing every 2 years. Only problem is shipping cost was $265 for a 50 mile trip. Good thing is that it is fully assembled and ready to go!

The specs read "Up to 20ft" for spread width. Is this adjustable? What are minimum an maximum? I have rows of blueberry bushes 8 ft apart, so would want to adjust anywhere from 8-12ft.

Asked by: DanBerryman
Spreading width ranges from 26'-40'.

Will this unit spread rock salt?

Asked by: SheriffK
The hopper on this unit is metal. We don't recommend putting salt in as that will promote rusting. Thank you,
