I just bought this. My dog is 70lbs shepard mix. It looks like a tight fit for him. he would fit ok if I put nothing in there with him. If I put a blanket or something in there he can't turn around. He backs out. I will get the bigger one tomorrow. If your dog is 70+ it will be a tight fit for him I think.

The label listed this for "large" dogs up to 90 lbs. My dog weighs 80 lbs., he won't use it because the entrance is too low for him to get in unless he crawled on his belly. The base area is indeed the same size as the circle he makes in the dirt or snow when he sleeps, but this in no way is big enough for a 90 lb. large breed dog to get into. Total waste of the money.

PetMate Igloo Dog House

Some crappy human dumped 2 dogs near our home and they migrated to us. Since it is so cold we needed shelter for them until a rescue has room for them so we bought one of these igloos and put straw inside and they love it. It was a little pricey but I took advantage of the Tractor Supply free delivery reward I had earned so that made it a little more palatable.

It’s a great house! Both my dogs can fit in one and that’s a space saver. The downside…. THEY DO NOT MAKE DOG BEDS/MATS for this! Unbelievable
