- Ant killer lasts 6 months
- Contact fire ant granules get to work fast
- For outdoor use only
- For broadcast treatment: Distribute granules accordingly; sweep off driveways back onto lawns; water immediately; start watering at furthest point and work back to treated areas
- For mound treatments: Water mound areas lightly before applying if soil is dry; distribute 1/2 cup of granules evenly over/around each mound to cover an area 4 ft. in diameter; Apply 1-2 gal. of water to each mound area to release active ingredients and move into tunnel areas; don't add extra water
- Use outdoors to treat lawns, ornamental gardens, home perimeters and property boundaries; Do not use in vegetable gardens
- Wear protective clothing, including long sleeves, long pants and gloves, during handling and application
- Apply on calm, rain-free days, when no rain is forecast for 24 hours to prevent drift or runoff
- Apply during early morning or late evening, when fire ants are most active
- Optimize control by combining targeted mound treatments for existing, visible mounds with broadcast treatment

I have used this for years. I apply it twice a year. Ants will show back up within two weeks of the end of 6 months advertised. I'm a believer. Will definitely keep using this. Love it.

I would not buy this product again.

I applied this product to my lawn a few days after mowing and we had a little rain that night. On 9/18/25 I applied the Over and Out using my Scotts broad spreader as directed on the bag. I checked the next day and I didn't see much movement but when the mound is disturbed the ants went crazy. I checked again after a few days and no change. Since then, the mounds where getting bigger and other mounds started popping up. I fully expect that this company show that they stand behind this product and honor the money back guarantee. I do have some before and after pictures/videos to prove the product didn't work. We'll see how long it takes them to contact me after this post. Or, maybe I will still have to contact them first. I guess we will find out. Good evening!
