We wanted a portable planer that was lighter to carry around and finished cuts faster, but didn't lack muscle or design quality. The result was the Model G0505. This 12-1/2 in. Planer features a 2 HP motor, 10,000 RPM cutterhead, 32 FPM feed rate, top-mouThe manual was written by our U.S.-based Technical Documentation Department and is packed with useful information. The complete and easy-to-read manual makes it easier to assemble and maintain your machine. The Customer Service and Technical Support Teams are also U.S.-based. Parts for this machine may be available online and shipped from the parts warehouse in Springfield, MO.

    Good solid machine. Easy to use. Stoked to get my first Grizzly tool. Will really up my game for final product, as well as production levels.

    Solid where it counts

    everything as expected, my second purchase of this sized planer, 1st on lasted 25 years. This one has the rollers on top which is a great idea, but poorly designed. This unit must not have been life tested, the roller pins come out, and potentially can fall into the planer. Not good, otherwise i'd have given it a higher rating.

    Quality product!

    Purchased this for a one-off project that I was doing. I went with Grizzly because despite knowing I wasn't going to need the planer for very long I wanted something of quality. Funny thing was I have now used it for projects that I originally didn't think I would need it for. Glad I went with quality over big box products.

    Bought this a few weeks ago, Does the job intended with no problems. Replaced my old one that I sold when I moved, this machine is much better. Recommended if you're looking for a thickness planer.
