The DR Power Equipment 22 in. 170cc Gas Premier Trimmer and Mower offers vastly more power than any handheld trimmer and will power through any trimming task and handle light to moderate mowing jobs with ease. At just 57 lb., it's light enough to maneuver in tight quarters, rolling easily on big 14 in. resin wheels. The trimmer and mowers boasts a 22 in. cutting width and has 5 adjustable height settings. The 7.60 series DR engine features an easy-pull manual starting engine. An offset frame design allows the trimmer and mower to trim right up against foundations, fence lines, and other obstacles with precise control. The front is fortified with a cast aluminum nose plate that protects the machine against damage from collisions.

Well you asked. The store gave me a different braad (Earthquake Trimmer) instead of the DR Power walk behind Sting trimer that I ordered. I had to take it back, get a refund and since the store did or does not have anymore DR walk behind String trimmers, I had to but the demo model. (I was given a discount) but I did not receive the owners manual or any sting to install so I can use the Trimmer. They told me to go on-line to get the manual and string for the trimmer. Not a good experience. dkakas

Eats trimmer string by the pound

I had a trimmer like this years ago, liked it alot, this thing goes through trimmer line like crazy. You are better off with a heavy duty weed eater with a shoulder strap

THEY DONT HAVE OIL IN THEM.

Purchased online and picked up in store. No issues with purchase or pickup. Cutter was pre assembled by tractor supply. The issue I had was when I asked the tractor supply employee if the cutter needed oil added he said “no we have someone assemble them here and all you have to do is put gas in it. Well the cutter had several labels and tags on it that said install oil before use. No oil comes with unit. There was not a drop of oil in the cutter. Fortunately I never start any small equipment without checking the oil. If someone buys one of these and has no knowledge of small equipment they might start it on the employees word that it only needs gas. Please educate the employees giving these to your customers.

DR doesn’t stand behind their products. If something breaks, you will be left to search the internet for a replacement part. Their customer service never answers the phone. If you order a repair part from them you will probably never get it.
Find a similar product from a reputable company instead.
