[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This string trimmer is awesome. I just bought a house and this thing is awesome for everything I need. I love the folding action. It is quick and easy to pack up and store until next use. The selectable 13 or 15” cutting pattern makes quick work of my smaller sized yard. Excellent battery life (near an hour on a full charge) gives me plenty of run time to trim my whole property. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me a little while to test it because we have a weekend of snow followed by a weekend of pouring rain. But I finally got to break it out of the box and I really couldn't be more pleased. Compared to my old Trimmer this one is so light and easy to set up. Of course being cordless is a must these days but its nice that the weight is finally coming down as well. It would be nice if it folded more compact with the battery on like it does with the battery off but that's not a big deal for me since I'm OCD with charging batteries anyway. My only real complaint is that it didn't always feed the wire. That's a pretty common thing and I don't expect it to be perfect. It is better than my old one but I did notice I had to give it a few more bumps than I would think for a brand new trimmer. That's being nit picky though because otherwise it functioned perfectly. I would happily recommend this trimmer to anyone with the DeWalt platform.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This will not directly replace a gas trimmer, although it is extremely convenient for small trim jobs like going around a fence on a property or a small area. If you do not use a gas trimmer for a large area, I would highly recommend this. It is perfect for doing small jobs, without the inconvenience of a carburetor.

It was time for an upgrade from the model I purchased nearly ten years ago, which still worked perfectly by the way. This model feels very sturdy and you can tell it is made from high quality materials. I love the ability to fold it in half for easy storage. The pressure locking mechanism is a great add also. This feels good in the hands and runs like a top. My favorite part about battery powered is the one touch and go. No gas, no pull strings, no mess!! Having several batteries on hand will make the product a staple for home lawn care.
