I first posted a 5 star review of this mower a year ago. I was very pleased with the performance on my 10,000 square foot lawn. It really did a great job. Unfortunately the mower quit after about 19 months. When logging the issue for warranty, I found out there was also a safety recall. That is when I entered Dewalt's nightmare service process. First I was told to take it to a local service center, then to ship it to a service facility. After 44 days, the mower was returned via UPS. Yes, It was free and the mower works again. 44 days? During mowing season? Dewalt would have saved money and this formerly loyal customer if they had just immediately replaced the unit at no charge. I had to buy a replacement mower. No, NOT a Dewalt. Anybody want to buy a Dewalt factory service repaired mower - cheap?

Mower itself is great, but the batteries can't even make it through either the front or back yards before dying after just 3 uses.

Light weight and easy to operate. The folding handle is hard to fold. This may be that it is new just needs to be used. I hope that doesn't mean that after a year, the handle fails to lock or falls apart. The battery compartment is inconvenient to use by the way the batteries have to be inserted. My opinion is that the batteries should go in vertically, not horizontally. After using this mower 3 times in 100 plus heat, I have had no problems with the mower other than having a charger that can only charge one battery at a time.

Very happy with this product, very easy to use, batteries latsted as expected, ran it about 1.5 hours
