Powered by an 11.5 HP (344cc) Briggs & Stratton recoil engine, it features a heavy duty fabricated deck with a 3-4.75 in. cutting height range. Upgraded gear selection lever is located on the operator control panel for easier shifting. Adjustable handlebar improves comfort and control. The fixed hardenedsteel blade cuts through brush with ease and is fully enclosed for safety. Large pneumatic chevron tires provide traction on rough terrain. Fourspeed transmission plus reverse improves maneuverability. Safety deflectors and wire shield protect against debris and electrical damage. Not for sale in California. 8 months ago- A: Thank you for your interest in this mower. We are not sure what exactly you are referring to. The Swisher walk behind is self- propelled. It does not have brakes on each axle to control direction. But it is very easy to steer just by moving the handlebars right or left.
