This is my 3rd Greenworks mower. My first one was purchased in 2016, second in 2021. Both the these are still working (only needed to buy new batteries/blades throughout the years). I bought the new wider self- propelled to make it easier for me to cut our 1/3 acre yard (I'm 74 and getting old). I love the mower but am disappointed in the run time. I purchased a 5ah supplemental battery and installed it along with the 8ah battery (fully charged) that came with the mower. It takes all of the 8ah and part of the 5ah to cut the front yard which is about half of the 1/3 acre. The mower does a great job but I did expect the battery life to be longer. I would give 3 1/2 stars if i could but with the short battery runtime I couldn't round to 4 stars but I still recommend Greenworks products. I have a Greenworks chainsaw, weedwhacker, blower, and hedge trimmer.

The 22" has a few upgrades from the 21" that are worth mentioning. 1" wider, first E-mower with dual blades? 1 8ah battery (vs 2 4), handles, a 6A charger (vs 4). And GW fixed the issue of not being able to pull it back after letting go of the lever.
I only used half the battery for my front and back. It is a joy to use and highly recommend it. I think why did I wait? Well I'm glad I did. This 22" is great.
