Lean forward on the handle to go faster, and let up to slow down. Whereas, on our traditional self-propelled mowers, you pull the self-propel-drive bar to the handle and hold it to engage the self-propel drive, and the maximum self-propel-drive speed is fixed. Nine summer of cutting and still going strong

This is my ninth summer of mowing with the AWD Toro. I use only ethanol free gas and change the oil and air filter after each season. Starts on the first or second pull. Enough power to climb small hills and cuts through 5 inches of grass with no problem. I'll likely get another summer out of this one and will definitely buy another AWD.

They could improve in the back flap that drags the grass it has allot of issues going forward and you have to lift the mower to get it to change back to natural direction
