To reverse your DEWALT 2X20V Max XR RWD Mower (Model DCMWSP256U2) without turning it off, you simply need to release the self-propelled drive lever while continuing to hold down the blade bail bar. Once the rear wheels are disengaged, push the mower forward about two to three inches to unlock the internal drive transmission pins before pulling the machine backward.3 days agoHelpful?

Here is the information we received from the vendor- "In reference to the DW 2X20 RWD mower the answer is yes the DCB610 FlexVolt can be used in place of the DCB210 batteries. The DCB610 FlexVolt can be used on any 20V and 60V product but the DCB210 can ONLY be used on 20V product."2 years agoHelpful?

Dewalt Service is UNACCEPTABLE

I first posted a 5 star review of this mower a year ago. I was very pleased with the performance on my 10,000 square foot lawn. It really did a great job. Unfortunately the mower quit after about 19 months. When logging the issue for warranty, I found out there was also a safety recall. That is when I entered Dewalt's nightmare service process. First I was told to take it to a local service center, then to ship it to a service facility. After 44 days, the mower was returned via UPS. Yes, It was free and the mower works again. 44 days? During mowing season? Dewalt would have saved money and this formerly loyal customer if they had just immediately replaced the unit at no charge. I had to buy a replacement mower. No, NOT a Dewalt. Anybody want to buy a Dewalt factory service repaired mower - cheap?
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great mower, bad batteries

Mower itself is great, but the batteries can't even make it through either the front or back yards before dying after just 3 uses.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Why do you need a title for a review?

Light weight and easy to operate. The folding handle is hard to fold. This may be that it is new just needs to be used. I hope that doesn't mean that after a year, the handle fails to lock or falls apart. The battery compartment is inconvenient to use by the way the batteries have to be inserted. My opinion is that the batteries should go in vertically, not horizontally. After using this mower 3 times in 100 plus heat, I have had no problems with the mower other than having a charger that can only charge one battery at a time.
Yes, I recommend this product.
