Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pump I have this pump in line with a 550 gallon portable tank.It works awesome plenty of pressure and that with 150 feet of garden hose. The only thing wish it had was a on and off switch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked great to pump out basement water I bought this to pump about 3 inches of water out of my basement that the sump pump wouldn't get. It worked fast and within about 3 hours I had it gone. Make sure you use a 3/4" suction line that won't easily collapse. If the pump starts running extra loud, you need to make sure that it is getting consistent water supply. I had a 100ft garden hose as discharge and it went up my basement stairs and outside.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good little pump I was pleased with this pumps performance, until the brushes went out. It came with an extra set and then they went out also, then I couldn't find new ones ANYWHERE... Is there any where that sells just the brushes for this pump motor ?

What size vehicle Inverter would be needed for supply this pump?

Asked by: Rage69
The pump requires 1466.25 Watts at start-up and 977.5 while it is running. It sounds like 1500 will be fine unless you are sharing power.

Will it harm the motor if it runs dry?

Asked by: lone
Yes, running the pumps dry is very harmful to the pump’s internal parts. Be sure to watch the pump while it is pumping as this is not an automatic model.
