There's a pivot front panel for easy cleaning. Recommended placement is near open woods or edge of wooded lots mounted 8 ft. to 20 ft. above ground. Bought this bird house for some american kestrels in our backyard. It was easy to install and feels sturdy. The price is very reasonable based on my research. Birds has not made it their home yet but hopefully in the future.

Nice speech owl nest box

This box is very sturdy and meets all the specifications for a screech owl or kestrel nest box. Better yet, hubby does not have to build it. Quality is great. Already planning to buy another.
