This is a great beginner pole

Not sure I wanted to invest a lot of $$ on a hobby I was unfamiliar with but this pole fit the needs, makes it easy to lower pole. Clip springs tend to get brittle if left to the elements all year ( I had to get a replacement set), recommend storing the pole during off season.

Clips broke, had to use screws. No base to set in the ground. Wind bent pole.

Good quality materials Poor telescoping hardware

Would not buy again. It is strong aluminum, however the plastic clips are not strong enough and therefore this allows for sloppy back and forth movement of the telescopic poles which are triangular in shape. I buried the first part of this pole in the ground about 18” because it didn’t have a ground sleeve.

one must order the ground insert directly from the company at a cost of $24.00 with shipping fees, $13.99 for the sleeve and $9.95 for shipping, the company itself is very slow in shipping so your going to be waiting for close to 2 weeks to get the item.
the pole itself to insert it into the house,i found using a thick feeler gauge over the pins to help getting the pins into the floor holes aided me, assemble the roof inplace on the upper pole section. LAST, those pins are hard to get into the plastic floors of the bird house .
