This 12,000/11,600 BTU model quickly cools a room up to 550 square feet with up to 1.6 pints per hour dehumidification. It also features 10600/8600 BTUs of supplemental heating to take the chill out of early Fall nights but is not meant as a primary heat source in the coldest months. Equipped with a programmable 24-hour, you can customize the start and stop times to fit your schedule. Plus, three cooling speeds, Eco function, and Sleep function all give you the flexibility you need to keep you comfortable. Eco Mode conserves energy by turning off the compressor when your desired room temperature is reached. On-board electronic controls are supplemented by a convenient remote control so you can customize your cool from anywhere in the room. This unit requires a special 230-volt/20-amp electrical outlet and will not operate with a standard 115V household electrical outlet.
