- A: The LG Thru-the-Wall Air Conditioner 26" Wall Sleeve, Model # AXSVA, or the LG Thru-the-Wall Air Conditioner Wall Sleeve with Stamped Aluminum Grille, Model # AXSVA4, are the only wall sleeves we have that are compatible with our LG Through-the-Wall Air Conditioners. They are the same sleeve, and the only difference between them is that the AXSVA4 comes with a "Stamped Aluminum Grille" as indicated in its header, while the AXSVA1 does not come with a grille, and you would need to purchase the LG Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner Architectural Grille, Model # AXRGALA01, separately. Do you have a model number for the LG 9.800 BTU Thru-the-Wall Air Conditioner with Supplemental Heat in question? The only LG Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner with Supplemental Heat we currently have in our lineup is the LG 10,000 BTU 230V Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner with Heat, Model # LT1037HNR, which uses the same sleeves mentioned above as all other LG Through-the-Wall Air Conditioners with or without supplemental heat, uses...^Ivan.10 months ago

As instructed on the 7th bullet under 'Clean Filter' on page 19 in your owner's manual for the LG 9,800 BTU 230v Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner, Model # LT1036CER, it says 'Clean Filter LED will light up to notify you that your filter needs to be cleaned. After cleaning the filter, press "Temp ▲▼" together to turn off 'Clean Filter' light. (Filter reset must be done from the unit control panel not remote control)...^ivan3 years ago

- A: Neither the LG 9,800 BTU 230v Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner, Model # LT1036CER nor any of our other Through-the-Wall Air Conditioners comes with a Wall Sleeve. It has to be purchased separately. All of our Through-the-Wall Air Conditioners use the same LG Thru-the-Wall Air Conditioner 26'' Wall Sleeve, Model # AXSVAI. However, that wall sleeve does not come with a grille which is required so if you do not have a grille, you will also need to purchase the Thru-the-Wall Air Conditioner Architectural Grille, Model # AXRGALA01 or purchase the LG Thru-the-Wall Air Conditioner Wall Sleeve with Stamped Aluminum Grille, Model # AXSVA4. - A: All out Through-the-Wall Air Conditioners including the LG 9,800 BTU 230v Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner, Model # LT1036CER use the LG Thru-the-Wall Air Conditioner 26'' Wall Sleeve, Model # AXSVA1 whose exterior W x H x D dimensions are 25 7/8" x 15 17/32" x 16 23/32". The width for the standard Wall Sleeve that you have of 42" is way too wide for our LG Through-the-Wall Air Conditioners to fit into and the depth of 13 3/4" is much too shallow. Your room of 15 x 15' is a square footage of 225 square feet and the smallest BTU rating for our Through-the-Wall Air Conditioners is 8,000 BTU which is adequate for a room of 330 square feet but would be oversized for a room of 225 square feet...^Ivan4 years ago

- A: There is no specified length of time for how long you can run the LG 10,000 BTU 230v Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner, Model # LT1036CER in DRY (Dehumidification) mode. It is normal for a Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner to spit water out through the condenser in the back of the unit. That is the only way it can drain...^IFV5 years ago

This LG through the wall air conditioner is a great option for cooling a large space. We have a large open bottom floor in our home, and it definitely has the ability to cool it. Energy efficient and multiple settings for fan speed. Convenient remote control. Obviously, an in the wall mounted air conditioner isn't for everyone, but i love the idea of not having a window blocked and no large unit sitting on my floor for a portable air conditioner. Great option from a trusted brand.

Energy efficient and reliable. Read manual before

This LG through-the-wall AC was a big upgrade for my home, and just in time for summer! It cools my bedroom evenly, which I usually have trouble with when using AC units. It's definitely not completely silent, but it is notably quieter than any window unit I've had over the years. The settings give me plenty of control to adjust the airflow and speed, and I love having a remote. Though, I tend to expect these features on modern units and at this price point.
It arrived with wear and tear on the box due to the weight, but the actual unit was thankfully packed well and in perfect condition. BE SURE to read the instructions thoroughly before attempting to install! Determining the placement and what was involved was SO important. Especially since the unit is around 80 pounds! Installation was no small task and there wasn't much room for error at that weight. It took two of us to get it set up properly. Then we had to learn how to operate it! I really like the energy saving features and the 24 hour timer. The trim gives it a sleek look, but honestly doesn't feel super durable long-term.
However, the unit itself is solid and well built. It has been such a great improvement for the comfort of the space and seems like it will hold up a long time. I'm really glad I went with this model, and relieved that I checked measurements before selecting it! I did receive this product to try in exchange for my honest review.

Great air conditioning wall unit, it is quiet and works fantastic. Keeps my living room nice and cool during the hotter seasons. The unit was easy to install in my previous wall cutout. It also comes with a remote, making it easier to access!
