This Tarter 1,000 lb. Creep Feeder with Feed Control Band helps producers maximize return on investment by adding pounds and maximizing growth rate in their calf crop before weaning and marketing. This calf creep feeder holds 1,000 lb. of feed and also features adjustable feed control bands and a high quality cage to ensure larger animals cannot access valuable feed. Ideal for small to medium sized calf herds, this 1000 lb. creep feeder is made with 1-3/8 in. square tube frame that is reinforced with 1-1/4 in. angle iron for durability. The small creep feeder also features an E-coat red finish for lasting use in the field.NOTE: Before transporting make sure the cage is in the upright position. Not recommended for moving while loaded.

Q: Do you think i could feed yearlings about 900 lbs with this feeder even if i had to put it on some timbers like railroad cross ties or something of that nature to make it higher?
