This Tarter Farm and Ranch Equipment 650 lb. Calf Creep Feeder helps producers maximize return on investment by adding pounds and maximizing growth rate in their calf crop before weaning and marketing. This creep feeder gate for calves holds 650 lb. of feed and also features adjustable feed control bands and a high quality cage to ensure larger animals cannot access valuable feed. Ideal for small to medium sized calf herds, this 650 lb. calf creep feeder is made with 1-3/8 in. square tube frame that is reinforced with 1-1/4 in. angle iron for durability. The small creep feeder also features an E-coat red finish for lasting use in the field.NOTE: Before transporting make sure the cage is in the upright position. Not recommended for moving while loaded.

- The attached cage allows calves to access feed through openings that are large enough for them but too small for cows to access

- A: Only assembly required is to remove the 2 top bolts and loosen the bottom bolts that will allow cage to come down. Tighten the loosened bolts and put the 2 removed bolts in the holes provided.7 months agoHelpful?

This feeder wasn’t built very the rings for the pipe to adjust hight for Calves wasn’t lined up the feeder latch is missing im considering returning for my money back and buy some were else

Feeder is adequate, however a major challenge exists with the sliding lid, there is nothing to stop it at the rear of lid so it tends to slide completely off into pen when opened wide to fill. I had to drill a hole to put in large bolt to stop lid at about 3/4 open.
