In addition, the added fertilizer thickens grass to crowd out future weeds and help prevent runoff. Scotts Turf Builder Bonus S Southern Weed & FeedF2 is for use on St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Centipedegrass, Zoysiagrass, and Carpetgrass only. Apply when grass and weeds are actively growing. We recommend using a Scotts spreader to apply this product. For Scotts broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 5 1/4. For Scotts drop spreaders, use a setting of 11. This product must be watered in immediately after application. Do not apply during winter dormancy period - wait until after the third mowing of the season to apply. Do not apply with a hand-held spreader. A must for your lawn care

So far so good! This Scott’s product seems to be working on my lawn. It was very easy to apply - used my Scott’s spreader to apply - follow all the instructions that are printed on the back of the bag for effective results. Have been using different Scott’s products for years and am pleased with this one.

Good product, bad time for a review

I want to start this by saying I did not receive this in a timely manner to potentially see the full effect of the product in conjunction of when I need to review it. Also, we’re in a drought and all my grass is basically dead. However, it is killing my chick weed. It is a large bag which you can pour easily into a spreader. I prefer the beads vs a powder type substance. I think it would work well overall for killing weeds.

As you can see, we have a quite a bit of dollar weed in our grass. This is a week after we used it and cut the lawn, no more! this is our go to fertilizer and helps weed out the invasive plants!

Scott's Turf builder Weed and Feed for St. Augustine grass, is very easy to use, and effective. With a few applications, this weed fertilizer will get the job done. Results are not instant, but I'm positive it's working. Great product!
