Good boots

I wear safety toe boots at work so I wanted a pair of just regular boots to kick around the house and town. I’ve only worn them a few times to break in, but they are a good quality Boot so far. Top quality leather.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Some issues but I keep buying them

I've owned about seven pairs of these very same IronClad boots; they're the only brand and style I wear and I haven't found anything better for my use, which is best described as general (not always on cement, just a mix of cement and earth). I've had no problem breaking them in. Every pair I've owned ended with the outermost layer of the heel coming apart such that it flaps around. The rest of the boot holds up great and I haven't taken the best care of them. One time, I received a pair that had the tongue sewn off center toward the outside but I didn't attempt to return them because I had them in the box new for awhile before I wore them. A change I've noticed is that the soles appear to be lighter and harder than in the past. I'm guessing that it was in response to some complaints about the weight of the boots. It seems to me that this has reduced the traction of the sole because harder doesn't stick as good as softer soles, such as on a wet sidewalk. I never minded the weight and preferred the better traction. The heel coming apart is the biggest negative. The biggest positive is that I've found them to be very comfortable having a firm and comfortable foot bed. A new pair of Rocky insoles makes them feel better than a brand new pair. Overall, then, although they're not perfect, they are pretty good quality and, as long as they don't change them further, I'll keep buying them. I've found it difficult to find what might be termed just a "plain regular"work boot. Thanks.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great boot

I have been wearing Rocky Boots for the last 20 years and love every pair that I have purchased. Without exception the Iron Clad has been my hands down favorite. They are comfortable and supportive. I spend a minimum of 10 hours a day on them and need both, comfort and support.
