Dairy goats can lose condition fast when they are in the peak of production. In our area, that coincides with the hottest months of the year as well as the hardest months parasite-wise which in years past has left some of our animals look less than their best by the time the State Fair rolls around at the end of September. We had been feeding Golden Ticket to an older buck to help him gain weight at the end of winter & rut and were so impressed with the improvements in his body condition and coat that we decided to introduce it into our does' diet as well. When you open the bag, the smell of the feed is the first thing you'll notice- it is very pleasantly-scented. The goats must find it appealing as well because they practically inhale it on the milkstand. It doesn't add any off flavor to the milk and the pay-off has been fantastic in terms of the body condition and production of our animals; two of my son's milking does did fantastic at our state fair. Both are pictured at 6 months fresh when they were selected as Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Alpine does in the Youth show. They are sleek and smooth while still reflecting ample dairy character and not over-fleshed. This supplement has done what we'd hoped it would do.

I started using Purina High Octane Golden Ticket about a month ago, and I am SUPER PLEASED with the results. Feed consumption has increased, and my goats have a bloom! The kids have access to it via creep feeder, and I am adding it to their regular daily ration as well that they share with the weanling and yearling does.
