Treat your herd with Corid 20% (amprolium) Soluble Powder. This amprolium powder is an aid in the treatment and prevention of bovine coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and Eimeria zurnii in calves. Use this bovine coccidiosis treatment as directed. Intended for a 5-day treatment program. Includes 10 oz. of product per order.
- Dosage for 5-day bovine coccidiosis treatment program
- CORID should be used on a group/pen or herd basis. When one or more calves show clinical signs of coccidiosis, it's likely the rest of the group has been exposed to coccidia and all calves in the group/pen or herd should be treated
- Add CORID 20% Soluble Powder to drinking water at the rate of 4-oz./50 gal (one 10 oz. packet to 125 gal. of water)
- For use in automatic water proportioners that meter 1 fl. oz. of stock solution per gallon of drinking water, add 1 bag (10 oz.) in 1 gal. of water to make stock solution
- At the usual rates of water consumption, this will provide an intake of approximately 10 mg amprolium/kg (2.2 lb.) body weight. Offer this solution as the only source of water for 5 days
- Amprolium Powder Directions: Add CORID 20% (amprolium) Soluble Powder to drinking water at the rate of 4 oz/100 gal. One 10 oz. packet to 250 gal. of water. For use in automatic water proportioners that meter 1 fl. oz. of stock solution per gallon of drinking water, add 1/2 bag or 5 oz. in 1 gallon of water to make stock solution. At the usual rates of water consumption this will provide an intake of approximately 5 mg amprolium/kg (2.2 lb.) body weight. Offer this solution as the only source of water for 21 days

- A: The directions from the manufacturer are as follows: Easy to administer - just mix with drinking water or administer as a drench. Palatable and readily accepted by cattle. Be careful of poor and confusing directions

Directions are very difficult and confusing with regard to dosage. Pretty sure it stated to use almost a 1/3 of the bag for a gallon of water. This stuff isn't cheap!
Needless to say we had found more accurate info. then the manufacturers own directions. THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN! We had baby chicks that needed this and well, the directions just SUCK!
