Q: Can this be fed free choice with free choice minerals? We have 15 to 20 bucks in containment on feed and hay and offer free choice minerals.

  • A: For the most effective results we would recommend to feed individually. But you could also add with other minerals as a free choice mineral. For a better answer we would recommend you contact your Vet to give you the best answer for feeding your herd.

Q: Does this product also aid in clearing up a calculi that already exists? Ammonium chloride is the treatment, but does this work for that, and what world be the dosage? I’ve just ordered this to use daily with my bucks and wethers.

  • A: Hello! This product assists in reducing occurrence of urinary calculi in male goats. It is 99.9% Pure Ammonium Chloride, and the recommended dosage is as follows: Add 1 lb of Ammonium Chloride to every 100 lbs of feed, or, provide one teaspoon of Ammonium Chloride per goat, per day. Q: I'm confused at the 1 tsp per 1-2 gallons per day per animal... I have 4 dwarf goats. How do I get enough in them at that rate? They don't drink a whole gallon of water a day...

  • A: Hello, This supplement can also be fed in your animals feed. For correct dosage, add 1 lb of Ammonium Chloride to every 100 lbs of feed.
