Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too much Calcium My whether developed urinary calculi that were calcium carbonate not the classic struvite. Looking at his diet the only thing that he was getting that was high in Calcium was this mineral product. Do I know for sure if this product 100% caused his calcium stones? No I don't, but going forward I have to eliminated excessive calcium so this goat mineral product is not going to work for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My girl love this! I have 2 Nigerian Dwarf Goats and they love this stuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps my boys healthy! I rescued a couple of neutered goats last year. My vet warned me about possible future urinary issues and recommended I feed them a mineral supplement. I chose manna pro and couldn't be happier. They eat it readily and appear to be happy and healthy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Please sell it in bulk!! We tried Manna Pro after unsatisfactory results with other mineral offerings that are primarily salt-based. Our goats loved it and it was a great boost to their nutrition. My biggest frustration is the annoyance and cost of purchasing the product in such tiny bags. My wife actually tried another salt-based product after we ran out because of the ease and economics of the bulk bags. Based on the other reviews, the public is clamoring for a larger size!! We are too!!

Is there smaller dosing for goat kids ?

Asked by: Brownie041960
We recommend feeding 1/4 oz (1/2 Tbsp) per day to kid goats.

Is this product safe for donkeys as well? Our donkeys and goat share a pasture and feeders!

Asked by: JRenea
No, Goat Mineral should not be fed to donkeys. The product contains ammonium chloride, a source of non-protein nitrogen (like urea). Horses and donkey's should not consume non-protein nitrogen.

Is there a similar product for sheep? I can't find one on your website. I know this product should NOT be given to sheep due to the copper that is in it. Second question -- will this supplement offer enough copper without having to offer additional?

Asked by: PrinceDavid
We do not manufacture a sheep mineral. The Goat Mineral does contain enough copper to where you do not need to supplement another copper source.

I have heard I should give this product to fight copper deficiency and I should also give free choice bakeing soda is this true

Asked by: normaj48
Goat Mineral contains copper, and will help goats from becoming copper deficient. We have not heard about giving free choice baking soda, so unfortunately we cannot give you a recommendation on it.

How much do you feed to each goat a day and how do you feed it? thanks

Asked by: yidle
When feeding Goat Mineral you will feed at a rate of 1/4 oz to 1/2 oz per goat per day. Either feed it by itself, or you can mix it in their feed.

How much should be fed per day in cups or teaspoons? Not sure how much is an ounce.

Asked by: jensue
When measuring out the Goat Mineral I would use tablespoons. 1/2 oz equals 1 Tbsp, and 1/4 oz equals 1/2 Tbsp.

How much Ammonium Chloride does your Mineral contain? My wether needs a teaspoon a day for good urination and giving it to him in applesauce does not work..

Asked by: Mary Lu
The Ammonium Chloride is 2.5% in the Goat Mineral. If your goat will not eat the Goat Mineral by itself, or in applesauce I recommend mixing it with syrup. The syrup will help mask the taste of the mineral.
