I have other porter cable tools. They work well and I can use them safely. I have been wanting the circular saw and when it went on sale purchased it. The biggest reason I purchased this item is it's easy to use and durable.

Had to return, didn't work correctly

I returned it because it would not opperate correctly. right out of the box it acted like the brake was partially on when I tried to make a cut. I have multiple Porter Cable batteries fully charged and none would opperate the saw. I really want one of these but not if this is the norm.
No, I do not recommend this product.
