The PORTER-CABLE 20V Brushless 7-1/4 in. Circular Saw features a brushless motor that delivers the power to handle a variety of cutting applications. Get the job done quickly with a motor that delivers 5,000 RPM. The 7-1/4 in. blade on the brushless circular saw provides a 2-9/16 in. depth of cut. With a bevel capacity of 56 degrees and bevel detent stops at 22.5 degrees and 45 degrees, you can easily maneuver to common cut angles. The LED light included with the circular saw provides enhanced visibility on the cutting surface.

Does the job, the power using a 6amp battery is great, it is conparable to much much more expensive optionn on the market, so for a home owner doing some diy work on the weekends, this thing is more then enough. Love it!

Solid Battery Powered 7 1/4" Circular Saw

I have used Porter Cable (110v and battery) tools for years. I have the smaller 6 1/2" 20v version that came in a set, but it doesn't have the cut capacity or power that I really need for cutting down rough cut lumber off my sawmill. This version is the normal 7 1/4" size and the power is much closer to 110v saw. I already had a couple of 4 amp hour batteries, so it was an easy purchase at Christmas with a 60% off list price!
