Excellent saw! Exactly what I needed!

Excellent saw super easy to use. Added a 50’ cord to keep from always looking for an extension cord and now it’s even better. Super steady while cutting especially when pared with a Makita 24t max blade. I use this saw over all my others, it has more than enough power to cut at full depth in treated lumber. It honestly surprised me the first cut ai made because it cut like butter and still does. Definitely make sure you clean and maintain it though it has open ports for air floor but other debris can get in there so make sure to blow it out after the day is over.

I use this saw building decks and stairs. It rips through pressure-treated lumber with ease and the worm drive design supports accurate cuts (I'm right handed). The saw is heavy which is both good and bad. Good for ongoing cut after cut accuracy and stability but wears on the arm after a long day. Overall, I'm extremely happy.

Best saw ever !!!

Best saw I've ever had, bought this saw 30 +/- years ago and it is a beast . I was doing a lot of timber building, barns ,log cabins etc. From Virginia to Florida and it is original and in the hard case (came with one back then) enough room for the saw , blades , square, tape and chalk line . When it absolutely has to be cut this is my go to saw . It's heavy and has a lot of torque but I've never regretted the purchase. Today in my wood shop it has a place along with my Skil table saws and my Skil routers . Thank you Skil for the great products .
