I bought this little saw, because though it's compact, it really gets the job done. I had a "plug in" saw and would get so frustrated with the cord. Now that I have my beloved cordless Dewalt circ saw, no more frustration. I just wish I could afford the better batteries. I do wish they had one standard battery that was reliable vs multiple different tiered batteries.

A good basic saw, but will leave you wanting more.

Used this saw over the summer helping my buddy build his deck.
Saw obviously handled crosscuts very well, but sometimes struggled with ripping. Paired it with a compatible edge guide for added accuracy and utility. Paired with Makita blades, but considering switching to Diablo.
Overall pleased with basic performance, but will likely seek to upgrade to a saw with more guts on my next major project.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Nice and light saw to work with. I really like the fact the blade is on the left side as it makes it easier to follow the cutting line.
