The Pond Boss Replacement Bulb for Floating Fountains with UV Filter and Pump is the replacement UV bulb for both the pond boss and the aquanique version of the Floating Fountain with UV Filter and Pump (model# QFUVP and # FUVFL). This small but powerful UV bulb emits ultraviolet (UV) light that takes the green out of your pond water, preventing nasty odors and murky water. The cold cathode ultraviolet tube ensures longer bulb life. This UV bulb lasts for up to 8,000 hours of use. for maximum efficiency, we recommend UV bulbs be changed at least once every year. We recommend storing all UV Clarifier products indoors during inclement weather, especially the winter months.
