Not just for fish

I feed this as a treat to my ducks...they love it and it approximates what they would find for themselves in a pond- they don't need alot, these are TREATS only, not a proper diet. ALSO, my chickens are CRAZY for this stuff. Okie dokie. It shouldn't be fed as a daily diet because it has high levels of protein, more than chickens or even ducks usually need, but that means that one single nugget of food packs a punch so if a bird ends up only getting two pieces in the scramble, that is sufficient to benefit them. This is great maybe twice a week during molting time. It ups the protein to allow them to more quickly make new feathers as well as a boost on nutrients. I have ALOT of birds and this bag lasted me almost a year giving it every so often in rotation with other treats such as scrambled eggs and kitchen leftovers and the occasional cheap catfood (also alot of protein and other things that aren't great in large amounts...so only maybe once a month on that).
