- A: Without scupper holes, there is simply no need for scupper plugs. When you're moving over larger waves in your kayak, it's more likely for more water to make its way up through the scupper holes and into your kayak.5 years agoHelpful?

Overall happy. Some things to note. The weight of the kayak is a bit awkward to carry solo, the paddles are lower end but work, and for me the foot rests actually are good to have if in rough surf but for me they just made the space to small for my calves.
