The Lifetime Tahoma Kayak is a sit-on-top kayak that has a comfortable backrest for your long paddling adventures. Designed for extreme safety and stability, the Tamarack has a stable flat bottom with deep tracking channels and stability chine rails. The kayak is constructed of blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) making it durable, UV-protected, and impact resistant. The lightweight, 50 pound design and front and rear carry handles make it easy to transport to and from the waterfront. The Lifetime Tahoma Sit-on-Top Kayak does not have dedicated air-filled flotation chambers, but its hollow, blow-molded hull naturally traps air to prevent it from sinking if it flips. - A: This kayak only has a 250 pound capacity. Other options include our Angler line of kayaks. The Stealth Pro Angler has a 370 capacity. Or another option could be one of our Tandem kayaks. They can be used solo, or with a partner. The Sport Fisher Angler has a 500 pound capacity. The Kokanee has a 475 pound capacity.4 years agoHelpful?

Poor clips on backrest

The clips for the backseat are cheap plastic and are notorious for failing or popping out. They sell aluminum replacement clips on line that re better. Lifetime does not offer good clips. They should offer better aluminum clips or better design. When clips pop put be ready for a tired back since backrest will not stay up.

Front of it keeps separating at the seem. Have 2 sun dolphins that havw lasted 7 that have been threw it all and still have yet to split had this one less then 3 months
