The Mighty Mule Dual Swing Push-to-Open Gate Opener Bracket is an 11 in. metal bracket that connects the gate opener to the gate post at an angle that allows the gate to swing away from the property, instead of into it. The FM148 is compatible with all swing Mighty Mule Gate Openers except the model # FM200,MM260 and MM271. This feature is useful on sloping driveways, or where space prevents a gate from opening inward. 2 Push-to-Open brackets are required for dual gate installations. Backed by a 1 year warranty.

Q: Why isn't the push to open feature recommended for MM271,272. My gate is very light. Is it a concern of power?

Q: If you need a push to open application, could you not just mount the opener on the outside of property so it would pull to open instead of having to buy another part?
