Provide your gate with added safety with the Mighty Mule R4222 Photo Eyes for Gate Openers. The photo beam sensors help prevent the gate from closing when an obstruction is in the path of the sensors. This photo eyes gate opener can be installed inside or outside your gate with included mounting hardware. The additional low-voltage wire (RB509) included with this Mighty Mule photos eyes system is necessary for installation. Please note the photo beams are required to be connected to each other (under the driveway is preferred), and one photo eye must be connected to the operator location. Please see attached instruction manual for full details on these photo eyes for a gate opening system.

Q: do you have solar eyes that are compatible with the solar powered gate?

Q: I may have a problem installing these "photo eyes". Are both of them "hardwired into the control panel?

Q: I know it's not ment to open but can it be wired in the same place as an opener to open the gate also. I want a drive up to gate ( 3'-4') to open gate. Vehical sensors need to be farther from gate

Q: Will this Photo eye open the gate, or only keep the gate open?
9 years ago- A: The photo eyes sensors help prevent the gate from closing when an obstruction is in the path of the sensors. The sensors are not used to open the gate, in this case you would need a Mighty Mule vehicle senor that would alert the gate to open. We offer a 50 ft. wired vehicle sensor (Model # FM138) or a wireless vehicle senor (Model # FM130-SW).9 years agoHelpful?
