- A: Hi Frank, Please keep in mind this is for one 10-Watt Solar Panel, some folks use 20-Watt or 30-Watt which will give more Cycles. Also there is some variations based on Length and Weight of the Gate, but this should be very accurate. So 8 cycles, 16 cycles, or 26 cycles (cycle equals open and close) depending on zone.2 years agoHelpful?

Works Okay however, little issues stop it from being great. Remotes work about 20ft away from the gate. I would like for Mighty mule to reach me.

Well it is installed and I have no idea if it works or not. The main board does not work and I have been waiting 3 weeks to get a new one. I called 5 times and waited over 35 mins on hold to talk to someone. Skip this brand because they don’t stand behind their product at all. Honestly I have no idea if it will ever work!

The MM572W double armed, pull to open gate opener is awesome. Works great!!. the provided brackets bolted up. Everything worked as advertised. You have to be a little bit of a handyman to drill the holes and get everything lined up and everything but it’s not that bad. I would highly recommend this product.

Disappointed & Frustrated – Poor Support and Costl

We believe our Mighty Mule gate opener was struck by lightning, so we contacted the company for help diagnosing the issue. After walking through troubleshooting with their tech support, we were advised to purchase a $400 replacement board.
Unfortunately, when the part arrived and didn’t fix the issue, we called again—only to be told by a different support rep that the entire system needed to be replaced. When we tried to return the board so we could just buy the full system instead of continuing to waste time and money, we were informed there would be a 20% restocking fee.
Even after explaining that we were following their own support team’s recommendation, they wouldn’t make an exception. We’re now out money on a part we never needed because of poor guidance from their staff.
Honestly, it feels like a scam. I’d steer clear of Mighty Mule—unreliable product support, rigid policies, and expensive mistakes. Not worth the hassle.
No, I do not recommend this product.
