Worst battery placement design ever

The absolute worst design for battery placement. The batteries need to be fixed into position in the cover and then slide into place when sliding the cover in place. I’ve had several of these and every one of them has issues with the batteries not staying in place when mounting the pad vertically. Otherwise it works great but you have to use a micro Phillips head screw driver to open the cover each time. It will not stay in place if you don’t use the screw so it’s not like you can just slide the cover off and clip the batteries back in. Really sucks when your keypad is 1/2 mile away from the house.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Keypad gate opener not weatherproof.

I absolutely hate this digital keypad. Every time it rains it doesn’t work. I’ve tried everything to make it weatherproof but to no avail. Very frustrating product.
