Q&As

1 - 10 of 46 Questions

Q: How do you get it to close the gate after using the keypad, mine does not close after a person comes in.

1 Answer
  • A: The auto-close feature on a Mighty Mule gate opener is controlled by settings on the main control box circuit board, not the keypad. To activate this function, locate the control box, access the circuit board's auto-close timer setting (which is typically off by default), and adjust it to a desired delay between 3 and 120 seconds.

Q: After programming, Once the access code is entered, does the contact make or break on the keypad?

1 Answer
  • A: Hello, thank you for your question. Upon correct code entry, the MMK200 keypad closes (makes) its normally‑open dry contact briefly, which the gate opener registers to start operation.

Q: Is this compatible with the rsck371w? Can it be wired in to avoid battery use?

1 Answer
  • MightyMuleSupport
A: T - Yes, the Mighty Mule MMK200 Gate Opener Digital Keypad is compatible with your Gate Opener. Interesting question on wiring it, did a doublecheck on that and it cannot be wired in. The three AAA Batteries should last about a year.

Q: Does the mmk200 work with a mighty mule 502 dual gate opener?

1 Answer
  • MightyMuleSupport
A: Tom H. - Unfortunately, I do not see the MM502 listed as compatible. The 502 has similar specs to our 572W but I cannot say for sure that the MMK200 will work for you.

Poor Quality and Poor Design.

The "old" designed worked better and had no issues other than it was old. Replaced with this one and will not work. Exchanged it and same issue. Poor quality and poor design. Absolutely do not recommend it. Will be looking for an "old" one.

Works pretty well

Aside from having to pay an additional $5 for it to pick up at a different store than the one I usually go to, I'm satisfied with this purchase. It is easy to program and allows my selected guests access to my home. I will note that you need to be sure that the battery pack is screwed in pretty tightly, or it will not get adequate contact, and then the keypad doesn't work.

Worst battery placement design ever

The absolute worst design for battery placement. The batteries need to be fixed into position in the cover and then slide into place when sliding the cover in place. I’ve had several of these and every one of them has issues with the batteries not staying in place when mounting the pad vertically. Otherwise it works great but you have to use a micro Phillips head screw driver to open the cover each time. It will not stay in place if you don’t use the screw so it’s not like you can just slide the cover off and clip the batteries back in. Really sucks when your keypad is 1/2 mile away from the house.

No, I do not recommend this product.
