  • A: Hi there, we understand you’re asking if the LP0625WFR portable air conditioner auto‑evaporates, and we appreciate you checking because knowing how the unit handles moisture makes setup much easier. Yes, this model does use an auto‑evaporation system, which helps reduce how often you need to drain water during cooling. A helpful step to keep things running smoothly: • Check the Water Full indicator occasionally, since heavy humidity can still require manual draining. Q: Does this model have a constant running fan. Will the fan continue to run even when the condenser turns off because of reaching the set temperature?

  • A: Hi there, we appreciate you reaching out, and we understand you want to know whether the LP0625WFR portable air conditioner has a fan that keeps running after the compressor turns off. It’s great that you’re checking how the unit operates so you know what to expect. This model is designed so the fan continues to run during cooling mode, even when the compressor cycles off after reaching the set temperature. This helps maintain steady airflow in the room. LG
Hi, Roger. We appreciate you sharing your experience and feedback regarding your LG Portable Air Conditioner, model LP0625WFR. We always aim to provide convenient and reliable cooling performance for your home, and we want to help ensure your room setup operates perfectly and comfortably for your household. To help restore full control and stability to the unit, we recommend performing a hard power reset by unplugging the air conditioner from the wall outlet for ten minutes, which allows the internal control board to clear any temporary glitches, and verifying that the drainage port is empty as a full water collection tank will trigger an automatic safety shut-off. We want to ensure your cooling system works flawlessly for you, so please send us an email at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com if you need further support. ^James

Solid and Reliable Unit

I recently installed this LG 150 portable AC in my studio and overall, I’m happy with it. It came well packaged, with good bottom support so I didn’t have to lift it out of the box. All of the necessary hardware and accessories were included. Installation was pretty easy; even for a solo job for a woman; but here’s a heads up: the instructions didn’t mention that you might need to cut the sliding extension panel to fit the window width. I slid it to fit without cutting, accidentally covering the vent hole, which caused overheating (oops). Fortunately, I figured it out before melting into a puddle. Once properly installed, it cooled my space quickly and runs smoothly. Just wish the instructions included that important little step! Otherwise, it’s a solid and reliable unit. I like it much better than a window AC unit because it does’t block my window nearly as much, so I have more natural light in my studio, which I need. It’s a bit loud, but I just turn my music up a little higher. (-: No longer will I have to get someone to help me remove a heavy window unit out of the window when summer’s over. I’ll just roll this portable unit into the corner and call it a day. One last point; It really does cool the room nicely, which was my main objective. Mission accomplished!

This is a great machine

It was not as heavy as our old portable AC and the window planks came with enough options that I didn't have to cut anything for our tiny window opening. So far so good!
