Q: Does this draw air from outside or in room
4 months ago- A: Hello Shane, Thank you for reaching out. The Pleasant Hearth 1800 sq. ft. Wood Stove, GWS‑1200 draws air for combustion from the room where it’s installed, not directly from outside. Like most traditional wood stoves, it relies on room air being pulled into the firebox through the air damper control and primary air paths to sustain combustion, while exhaust gases exit up the stove pipe and chimney. If you want combustion air supplied from outside, an external air supply kit would need to be added during installation by a qualified professional. Should you ever need product support or assistance, our customer service team is here to help. Thank you! – GHP Group4 months agoHelpful?
Q: what is the size of firebox and what is max burn time
4 months ago- A: Hello Rusty, Thank you for reaching out. The Pleasant Hearth 1800 sq. ft. Wood Stove (model GWS-1200) is designed with a firebox that typically accommodates logs up to approximately 18 inches in length, allowing for efficient loading and combustion. As for maximum burn time, actual duration depends on several variables, including the type of firewood used, moisture content of the wood, how the stove is operated, and air control settings. When using well-seasoned hardwoods and properly managing the air intake, burn times of 6–8 hours or more per loading cycle are commonly achievable under typical usage conditions. For exact specifications, performance expectations for your specific setup, or recommendations for maximizing performance and efficiency, please contact our knowledgeable customer service team so we can provide detailed product support. You can reach us at 877-447-4768 or by email at customerservice@ghpgroupinc.com . Should you ever need product support, please contact us. Thank you! – GHP Group.4 months agoHelpful?
Q: Longest born tome
4 months ago- A: Hello Rusty, Thank you for reaching out. If you are asking about the longest burn time you can expect from the Pleasant Hearth 1800 sq. ft. Wood Stove (GWS-1200), actual burn duration depends on several factors including type of firewood, wood moisture content, stove operating temperature, and air control settings. Well-seasoned hardwoods such as oak or hickory generally burn longer per load than softwoods, and loading the stove with a full charge while managing the air intake appropriately will typically provide the longest continuous burn. Because burn times vary with usage and conditions, there is no single fixed number that applies universally. If you would like more specific guidance on maximizing burn time or optimizing performance for your particular space and wood supply, please contact our knowledgeable customer service team for detailed product support. You can reach us at 877-447-4768 or by email at customerservice@ghpgroupinc.com . We appreciate your business and look forward to assisting you. Thank you! – GHP Group.4 months agoHelpful?
