Great alternative to window AC

I use this in my barn tack room that is insulated. The AC seems to work well, yet I am uncertain how often it will need to be drained. The company insinuates " not often" but nor sure what that means. Using the dehumidifier is VERY intimidating because you have to use a provide tube to drain the water into a container, I use a 5 gallon bucket and some days it fills about a gallon or more an hour!!! So you BETTER NOT forget to keep dumping the bucket because there is no auto shut off. The dehumidifier scares me as I tend to be busy and a lot on my mind, however, I did buy it as an air conditioner and that seems fine so far! I like how sleek it is and the fact it is black.

Dissappointed in unit

I purchased this portable A/c due to the 3 in 1 and dual duct feature. My main frustration is that the unit's ductwork is so short and inflexible, that the placement is less than optimal. I hoped that i could purchase an extension kit to make the unit better suited for my needs. Unfortunateky, there is not one from Danby, nor is there an after market available. This does lead to heavy buyers remorse.
