This Better Built 63in. Gloss Black Aluminum Low Profile Crossover Truck Tool Box is the part that all truck drivers need to keep on task. The stainless steel pull handle latches allow you to lock or unlock the truck saddle box from either side of your truck. This saddle tool box has adjustable strikers that are guided to their latch to help ensure a secure closure, while the weather resistant seals help keep the elements out. The auto-lift shocks on the saddle box allow for easy, one-handed entry.Note: This product ships via over-the-road common carrier truck. Q: 38 inches refers to the bottom length. There's no way that it hangs a foot over from the box edge on both sides. I'd hate for you to ship this all the way to me, only to ship it back. Pretty please with a cherry on top... what is the middle box length?

This tool box is well-made with the following exception . The thickness of the top is insufficient to hold up the opening and closed stresses it is subject to. After a few gentle closings, the top has a dent right above where the latch is mounted.
This is a criticism of the TSC store I bought it from. They don’t carry the following handy mounting item. Better Built Grip Rite Tool Box Mount.
Another store got my m money for that.

Perfect fit for my 2019 Nissan Frontier Quad Cab Pro 4X. I would highly recommend
