These boots fit excellently & have physically held up well over the year I’ve owned them. However, the entire reason I asked for these specific boots is because they’re listed as waterproof. The soles of these boots are squishy after hour 1 of my 8-hour PNW landscaping workday, and they’ve been like that the whole time I’ve had them. If I had bought these for myself I would have returned them immediately but because I received them as a gift I didn’t want to go through the hassle. Honestly I might have gotten a defective pair, I wouldn’t even go so far as to call these water resistant. Great boots if you live somewhere dry but absolutely not any more waterproof than a regular pair of leather boots.

I bought these boots in November and wore them everyday for about 3 months for work they were super comfortable waterproof, but in mid January the leather cracked where it meets the rubber toe area. I cleaned them and oiled them once a week and rewaterproofed them 2 times, but after they cracked the boot was basically garbage since my feet would get all wet and it was incredibly uncomfortable.
