The Sioux Crape Myrtle characterized by its pristine dark pink blossoms that gracefully blanket the plant during the summer months are reminiscent of Southern charm. The Sioux Crape Myrtle showcases a graceful, upright growth habit, ultimately reaching a mature height of 13 to 20 feet with a spread of 8 to 12 feet, making it an ideal choice for a show-stopping standalone specimen or as part of a picturesque hedge. Whether used to frame an entrance, grace a garden bed, or as a stunning backdrop, the Sioux Crape Myrtle adds a touch of Southern elegance to any outdoor space. During the spring and summer, the leaves are a dark green, providing a fresh and vibrant backdrop for the tree's stunning pink blooms. As the seasons shift to autumn, the foliage of the Sioux Crape Myrtle takes on a brilliant show of colors. The leaves typically change to a rich orange-red or sometimes a reddish-brown, adding a warm and inviting hue to the landscape. This seasonal transition in foliage color is one of the reasons why the Sioux Crape Myrtle is highly valued in gardens and landscapes, as it provides year-round visual interest. Water before planting; Plant in full sun to part shade; Dig hole 3X the width of pot; Backfill and plant 1-2 below soil level; Water and add more soil if needed; Mulch plants

Nice Sioux Crape Myrtle

Tree arrived at my local TSC on time and in good condition. Tree was fuller than I thought it would be, which is great! Got this Crape Myrtle to replace a Japanese Maple that got too much sun. Transplanted easily and now we are looking forward to blooms!
