The Pirtle Nursery Profusion Crabapple is a petite flowering tree with a profusion of showy, bold pink-violet blossoms in the spring. Leaves emerge turn bronze-green in the summer and then fall colors emerge with a gorgeous honey-yellow. The Profusion Crabapple is low maintenance and disease resistant, and provides pollination benefits to apple trees. It is convenient for smaller yards, adaptable to soil types but must have good drainage. Their reddish-purple fruit feeds local songbirds, a small deciduous tree that truly provides year round appeal.
