Q: I have a gravel driveway, can I raise this up to avoid sucking in the rocks?

  • A: Yes you can and should raise your Yard Force 24" 2-stage snow blower when using it on a gravel driveway. This will help prevent it from picking up and throwing rocks, which can damage the machine or become a safety hazard. This can be done by adjusting the skid shoes, these are the small plates on each side of the auger housing, near the bottom edge. Plastic chute adapter breaks and do not sell part.

Auger housing assembly has a plastic adapter where the chute connects to. It broke during the snowstorm and chute won't stay on. What makes matter even worse, yardforce do not sell that piece separate and do not have housing assembly in stock. This is a plastic piece that's attached by nuts and bolts which will wear and should be a part sold separately

No, I do not recommend this product.

Awful - All Around

This has been an aweful experience with Tractor Supply. This was the second broken snow blower in a row. The first one had a bad carb and this was a replacement with no shift linkage. I would not recommend buying any machinery from Tractor Supply.

Snowblower would not start after I assembled it(would not even fire). Ended up taking it back to the store i picked it up from so they could try to figure it out. They found foreign items inside the carburetor that were blocking the flow of fuel. Has not snowed since so not sure how well it works
