Good unit for standard residential driveways

Had a ST227 with power steering for about 5 years in lower NY. Never had a major issue. Always started right up. I suggest shutting off the fuel line, letting it stall out when putting it away for the season and the carb won't get gunked. Always fired up the following season. I will say the reverse is super slow and isn't much help. That could be improved. Engine little under powered if snow is wet but that's expected, just took a little more time. Also, had cables come loose from broken plastic tabs but nothing a couple zip ties couldn't fix. Otherwise it worked well.

Excellent blower

Bought in 2016. 10 years later and still starts first pull every time. It does a very good job clearing the snow. Handles heavy slushy snow well. In 10 years Ive had to replace the drive belt , 1 bearing and a shear pin. That's quite good in my book. Id highly recommend this blower.

RUN Quality has tanked!!!

Purchased new in January of 2025 here we are a year later & second winter in and this snow blower has completely fallen apart.
First use in 2025 the auger shear bolts snapped on a slightly hard bit of snow yes snow, not ice, not a rock or piece of wood, crusted over snow.
Later found out reason for first issue is the entire auger assembly wobbles side to side.
Had warranty work done to address the issue guess what still not solved still wobbles and chews up shear bolts.
Last use in February of 2025 noticed that it would no longer move in any gear lower than 3. Had shop warranty and do some “adjustments” seeing as it is warrantied I’m not repairing anything until that warranty runs out.
Fast forward to this season
First snowfall of the season shear bolts break yet again on fluffy snow in a paved driveway,
Fix that issue now I’ve got a cable that seized up (for auger) and a snowblower that yet again no longer goes forward.
Mind you this snowblower gets cleaned after each use and stored in a heated garage. Complete trash. My trusty single stage Toro has saved the day every time this big orange paper weight has broken down. I wholly regret selling my buddy my old Ariens 2 stage, here I thought I was getting something new and nice but ended up with a scrap pile with shiny paint.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Horrible product and service.

Horrible product. Use your shovel and save yourself a lot of pain and agony. Hasn't run correctly since new. Ive been trying to get the carburetor and can't as they keep sending me I correct information. Very disappointed in husqvarna as I used them all the time but never again now. Garbage!!!!!
