Rated 5 out of 5 by from 90 weight gl1 gear oil This is simple 90w gl1 gear oil. Same viscosity as 50w nondetergent engine oil. It is the correct lubricant for old 60s and 70s manual transmissions and transfer cases like the T19 and NP205. Great stuff, and cheap too.

Will this work for a 1984 Ford New Holland tractor which ask for Ford # 41

Asked by: Ronald123
Need more information on the specification as Ford usually has a combination of letters and numbers. It is suspected that you would need a Universal Tractor Fluid for a 1984 model.

I used the Traveller Renew on my 1952 8N Ford Tractor. Should I have used the Traveller All Mineral 90 instead? Should I replace the Renew with the All Mineral 90, or am I going to be ok with the Renew?

Asked by: Rolfie
That technically depends on what the recommended fluid is for that piece of equipment. The All Mineral 90 is much thicker than the Renew. Most tractors in this age range called for thicker fluids than what tractors do today meaning the All Mineral 90 is probably closer to the recommended viscosity grade for your equipment.

Will this product work with a Liberty backhoe that calls for 90w hydraulic fluid, which does not exist? I assume that is what is in it as the manual states that is what all their backhoes are shipped with.

Asked by: JoeT4
No, the recommended fluid is the Traveller Premium Universal Tractor Trans/Hydraulic Fluid.
